Privacy Policy

Choose Renewables, LLC ("Choose Renewables") respects your privacy and recognizes the importance of protecting information collected from you through Choose Renewables' Web site, related data, and/or related services (collectively, the "Services"). We have adopted this privacy policy. Choose Renewables will comply with this policy, and applicable privacy-related law, when we gather and use information from users of the Services.

Collection of Information

Choose Renewables collects a variety of information relating to usage of the Services.

  • Information you provide. You may provide information in connection with your use of the Services, such as information about your physical location. You may also provide us information about yourself, such as providing your e-mail address so we can send you information about the Services, or sending us e-mail. We may combine this information with other information we collect from the Services or from other companies.

We may share with third parties aggregate information or information that does not personally identify individuals.

Opting Out

If you want Choose Renewables to cease sending you e-mail about the Services, you can discontinue such communication by following the instructions included in our e-mail, or if you have a user account with Choose Renewables, you can indicate your preference. If you do not want Choose Renewables and its marketing service provider to follow your usage of the Services via cookies, you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some Choose Renewables features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.

Collection of Information by Ad Servers

Choose Renewables may use a third party to present or serve advertisements that you may see at Choose Renewables Web pages. These third-party ad servers may use cookies, web beacons, clear .gifs or similar technologies to help present such advertisements, and to help measure and research the advertisements' effectiveness. The use of these technologies by these third-party ad servers is subject to their own privacy policies and is not covered by our privacy policy.

GoogleTM Maps API

Google Maps imagery is supplied by Google, and its use is subject to the Google Maps Terms and Conditions and Google Privacy Policy.

Third Party Web Sites

The Services may include links to the Web sites of other companies and/or individuals. These third party Web sites may collect personal information about users on those Web sites, and Choose Renewables' privacy policy does not extend to these external Web sites and third parties. Please refer directly to these third parties and Web sites regarding their privacy policies.

Storage and Security of Information

Personal information will be processed and stored by Choose Renewables in databases hosted in the United States. Choose Renewables has taken reasonable steps to protect the information users share with us, including, but not limited to, setup of processes, equipment and software to avoid unauthorized access or disclosure of this information.

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.

It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
